Data controller and recipients

Donations will be processed via the payment service provider PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, 2449 Luxembourg). Other service providers such as the bank and the tax advisor of the data controller are also involved in the processing of the donations.

For the processing of the collected data, Fashion Revolution works with a number of processors on the basis of data processing agreements, which may foresee the transfer of collected data to the United States. A transfer of personal data to a third country may only take place where there is an adequate level of protection essentially equivalent to that ensured within the European Union. This can generally be assumed where the European Commission has decided that the third country in question ensures an adequate level of protection. There is currently no effective adequacy decision by the European Commission with regard to the United States. In absence of such an adequacy decision, the relevant processors have provided appropriate safeguards by making use of standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Duration of the data storage

Campaign Supporters: The records of the email addresses collected in accordance with the ECI Regulation will be destroyed not later than one month after the withdrawal of an initiative or 12 months after the end of the collection period or the submission of the initiative to the European Commission, respectively. However, where the European Commission sets out, by means of a communication, the actions it intends to take in accordance with the ECI Regulation, records of the email addresses shall be destroyed at the latest three years after the publication of the communication.
